Help for Silicon Materials & Devices Publications
This database contains publications from NREL's Silicon Materials & Devices team. You can search for these publications by research topic, author, publication year, source, keyword in title/abstract, and document type. Below you'll find more information on how the search feature works and on the different types of searches you can perform:
General Search InformationSelect a research topic and/or an author from the drop down lists. If you know some additional information, such as the year, source, or type of publication, or if you know some keywords in the publication's title or abstract, you can use the other menu selections. You can enter terms in more than one box to narrow your results (all terms must be present in record for it to appear in results). Note that additional help is available below for each of these options. New Searches: When you start a new search in Silicon Materials & Devices Publications, press the "Clear" button at the bottom of the page to reset the screen. This will prevent you from getting confusing or inadequate results because of selections made in previous searches. Author SearchSelect an author's name from the drop-down box. If you do not make a selection, you will retrieve publications by all authors on the Silicon Materials & Devices Team. Publication Year SearchEnter the 4-digit year of publication, e.g. 1996 Search for a range of dates using a colon between the years, e.g. 1994:1996 Source SearchEnter one or more words from the source of the document (do not use abbreviations). The source includes the title of a journal (i.e. Journal of Applied Physics, Thin Solid Films), conference proceedings (i.e. Proceedings of the Materials Research Society Symposium, IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference), or book, plus volume and issue numbers.
You do not have to capitalize - the field is case insensitive. Title/Abstract SearchEnter one or more keywords from the title or the abstract of the document. This option will search for the terms you entered within the titles and abstracts of database publications.
